On 26 March 1782 his papermill in Caneto was said to have been „construita di nuovo“, recently buit up (I-Vas, Inquisitore alle Arti, b. 23: see Mattozzi, Le filigrane e la qualita’ della carta..., p. 331). By that time Giovanni was no longer the tenant of his former papermill in Luseti (in 1782 it was rented to Luchini Bros., with the watermark FL, „Fratelli Luchini“). At first the Caneto papermill was owned by Antonio Avanzini, but Giovani bought it in 1793. In the first half of the 19th century the activity was carried on by his sons Faustino [Jr.] and Luigi under the trade name „Fratelli Andreoli di Giovanni“ In the meantime, another firm called „Fratelli Andreoli“ or Giacomo Andreoli per la ditta F.lli Andreaoli, was in activity since 1782: GFA RISM-ID: 659002028
