Remarks: M. Riepl, ein Sohn des Raitenhaslacher Papierers Georg Riepl, erwirbt die PM Braunau 1696. Er führt 1712-16 auch die Raitenhaslacher Mühle, die er dann seiner Tochter Katharina und deren Ehemann F. A. Niederdorfer übergibt. 1742 geht die PM Braunau in Flammen auf und ist 10 Jahre lang außer Betrieb, ab 1752 Martin Moser, dann Sebastian Stumpfegger (1760) im 19. Jahrhundert Familie Hoffmann. Paul Hofman (1851-75) arbeitete noch mit Leinenlumpen. [Mitterwieser, S. 63] [Eineder, S. 123:] Anton Kiesling [Mittel-Langenau, Bohemia], ist also mentioned as owner of the paper-mills at Braunau, Trautenau, Zamberku, Rokitnitz, Jungbuch am Brettgrund, and the one called Schatzlar. Eineder, S. 63: [Braunau] 1821: Mill comes into the posession of the Hofmann family, 1851-1875: Paul Hofmann produces the last hand-made paper“ Ab 1912 Papiermaschine.
